Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Following Is Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Review.

Warning: Following might be spoilers on the Assassin's Creed Series read at your own risk!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Assassin's Creed series has always come through with new ways to make people enjoy those games. First Altair facing the Third Crusades, then Ezio Auditore Da Firenze showed us Italy and Old Constantinople, finally Connor and Haytham took us to the old native America.
Ubisoft has been testing on us for an "Ultimate Perfect Game" and I believe they're getting closer. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag shows us how much Ubisoft cares about our opinion. Black Flag introduces a new character, a Pirate named Edward Kenway (Yes, He is Haytham Kneway's Father.) has not only an interesting and surprising Caribbean open world, It also has an overwhelming Storyline that is funny and at the same time full of little details that make you want to play more. Pirates and Privateers play a huge role in Black Flag's story. As a pirate you have absolutely NO loading screen between Land and the JackDaw, Edward's ship. The naval Warfare introduces new features like boarding a ship and a binocular you can use to see other ships' infos.
Black Flag isn't a perfect spotless game its poor graphics and glitches are really annoying. I couldn't stand seeing my fellow pirate floating in the air as my ship got destroyed, I also had to restart my game because the guard I was following got stuck in a wall.
What about the Animus. When you're back on Earth and not in a computer program you find yourself in an entertainment facility and your job is to go through a "generous donator's memories", this so generous donator is called Desmond Miles. When you're first back out in the real world a young lady introduces you to Obstergo Entertainment, which is where you work. The young lady first tells you that you're a volunteer for a project  that will allow buyers to virtually visit countries and free roam them.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag introduces brand new features to the series, it is interesting to see how Ubisoft improved the series over time.

Verdict

+ Wide and Easy Accessible Open World
+ Interesting Story-Line
+ Man New Features
- Mean Graphics Glitches

Grand Theft Auto 5- Review

Grand Theft Auto V is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.
Now, let me talk a little history. In 1997 the first Grand Theft Auto (1) was released. It wasn't so good of a game with a 6/10 rating. In 1999 GTA 2 followed with a 7/10 rating.
After the first two another generation came along bringing two brand new consoles, the Xbox and the Play Station 2, It might have been new consoles or just technology advancing that allowed GTA 3 release with a 9/10 rating, almost making it to game of the year.
In 2006 Rockstar realized GTA couldn't stop so Peter Moore fascinatingly "announced" GTA 4 with a tattoo on his left arm which reads "GTA IV". In 2008 Rockstar finally released the 2008 GAME OF THE YEAR, "GTA IV".
And now Rockstar came trough once again with cool graphics and super big Open World for GTA V.
As I mentioned before, GTA V has a wide open world that goes by the name of Los Santos.
Los Santos is overpopulated by 3 people, Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Michael is famous for being a former bank robber, Trevor instead is a trailer park criminal, Franklin is an ex-street gangster.
these three guys make the perfect trio.
GTA is known for its wide choice of cars, and in this GTA cars handle very smoothly and interact realistically with the world in different ways, for example the cars handle harder and when you hit a wall it might crack.
A wide open world can be very cool, but it can also cause delay in world loading so when you enter a fast car don't push it to max or it might look like you're flying in the air.
In many missions you'll need the help of a sniper or someone who can shoot out the police man who's holding his gun on your head, that's where the character switching mechanic comes in play, this allows you to switch between 3 characters not only during missions but also while you're wondering around Los Santos buying guns or... browse the Internet. Yes you heard, browse the internet, this feature allows you to visit cars websites buy a new house or simply looking up a location.

Grand Theft Auto V is a very funny third player action game which adds new features to the Grand Theft Auto series which you can find below. I think this game should be in the short list for Game of the Year so you all should play this game to death.

Verdict

+ Wide Open world
+ Improved vehicle mechanics
+ Character switching mechanics
+ Internet

Saints Row IV- Review

Saint's Row 4 is an awesome third person open world game developed by Volition Inc. and published by Deep Silver where you can use powers and various weapons to destroy an Alien race who is trying to kill you and your friends.
In 2011 Saints Row: The third was released with great ratings from almost everyone, and it really was great but is Saints Row IV as great as the third? If you buy Saints Row 4 thinking about the third you'll spend half the game thinking how the third was mind blowing.
In this game you'll play as whoever you want because of the wide player customization and because of the super powers you can unlock you can do everything that's right... EVERYTHING!!! because of the super powers the game is too easy like playing as superman in Super Mario. That is probably the most negative thing of this game. The game is not bad if you like to be a super badass dude that can get to the other side of town in two seconds doing super-jumps and using super-speed.
While helping your friends and saving the world you can play in a matrix like computer program created by aliens. You'd think that aliens have higher technologies but in their games they still have audio glitches.
While too easy to play it's also fun to play if you just want to relax and wonder around jumping and running super fast so if you like to do that go buy it and kill some Aliens.

OVERALL

+ Awesome Super-Powers
+ Wide Open World
- Too OP
- Audio Glitches

I'm Back- IGN Tour, Ubi, and EA

Yes, yes, yes! I'm back from an awesome trip to California where I had so much fun visiting friends and since I was In San Francisco I couldn't resist to the temptation of visiting the IGN offices. So the day after the 4th of July I went to IGN in Second Street where the AT&T Park welcomed me (Yes I'm a baseball fan.)

This sign appeared on the left side of the corridor as we entered the building and asked the receptionist if it was possible to have a tour around the offices. It was the day after the 4th of July so they were off and I couldn’t have a trip around. But fortunately I’d come back my last day of vacation to try again.
When I turned the corner, there it was the great, the awesome, the gorgeous… Ubisoft!!!

Two Ladies welcomed me and they gave me some gadgets. They gave me two ZombieU cap, two Splinter Cell Conviction cap, and two Assassin’s Creed Pins

On our way to Monterey we saw EA and decided to go in but they were very strict

E3 2013- EA Press Conference

Hey Everyone! With the end of E3 I made a post on Microsoft's Press Conference. I'm going in order so next up is Electronic Arts' Press Conference.
First up EA's Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore explained that in its Press Conference EA was going to show PS4 and Xbox One games exclusively.
First game they showed was their new Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare trailer with cool graphics followed by its gameplay. PvZ Garden Warfare will first hit Xbox One and then Xbox 360. Check it Out
Following Titanfall, which you can check out in the Microsoft Press Conference Post, we saw games created using Frostbite 3 and EA Ignite engines.
We saw a short teaser of Star Wars: Battlefront. I'm waiting for it anxiously because I've played Star Wars Battlefront on the first Xbox and it was such an incredible experience I wold play it every single day.
Using drifts, high speed, smashed cars, and police cars getting smashed EA took it away with Need for Speed Rivals.
Dragon Age Inquisition looked like it will be an awesome game with a cool and creative storyline. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Next EA showed what this company is most famous for, Sport Games. Andrew Wilson explained how Human Intelligence, True Player Motion, and Living World can be possible using EA's new Engine, called Ignite. NBA Live 14 was showed by Sean O'Brian along with the NBA star from the Cleveland Cavaliers Kyrie Irving. Kyrie explained why dribbling is important and O'Brian explained how EA is using its new technology called bounceTek to improve dribbling in an NBA game on a console. And what really caught my attention was O'Brian's quote "Everytime you pick up the controller NBA live will be a new experience".
Madden 25 looked amazing on graphics, and details but what I got out of the trailer and out of the explanation is that EA is trying to improve the gameplay to improve your chances of winning, so I still need clarification about it
I don't really like watching soccer, but I did like playing Fifa 13, it was the best sport game of 2012. With Fifa 14 I hope the gameplay will feel even better. A special appearance on stage caught my attention, Drake Appeared on stage explaining his appreciation for soccer and for fifa. Now take a look at Fifa 14.
To end its Conference EA showed Battlefield 4, a game that many people were waiting for. The Dice team showed the Multiplayer and it looked awesome I couldn't even stop watching it, so check it out.

EA had a short but interesting conference. We got to see some sport games, we saw PvZ, Need for Speed, Star Wars Battlefront, and Battlefield 4. The auditorium was not full and it was short.
Conference Rating: 7/10

E3 2013- Microsoft Press Conference

Heyy everybody! I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything so now I want to post some things we saw at E3 starting with Microsoft's Press Conference.
Microsoft opened up E3 showing Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain which looked like a better modern day Red Dead redemption. MGS V will have a new Open-World feature added to it where you can use various transportation methods like tanks or horses. In the show they also showed some stealth features like obviously lean, crouch, and lean by the side of a horse. I think it looked pretty hot, but if you want to check it out yourself watch the video below

After MGS Microsoft showed the new Xbox 360 which basically is thought to have a Xbox One design to it. This new Xbox will be"Smaller, Sleeker, and Quiet as ever" said Yusuf Mahdi, The new Xbox Live Gold Membership, which will transfer to Xbox one if you'll get one, will allow you to receive 2 free game downloads, like Assassin's Creed II and Halo 3, starting July 1st until the release of Xbox One. Check it out

Now, returning to games World of Tanks will be released for Xbox 360 too. The presentation looked like it could be a tablet game but it could also be an Arcade game but I'm not really intrested in this game. Check it Out
When Microsoft finally started the Xbox One part of the conference they first showed the new game Ryse, with some gods and some soldiers with shiny Roman armor Ryse showed how a game can evolve trough smashing buttons during quick time events. This game really amazed me. Check it Out
Next up Microsoft called in Ted Price to tell us about Sunset Overdrive which is an Open-world shooter game powered by the cloud. This game looked amazing but I think they'll not be able to achieve what they showed in the presentation, well you never know.
Now, with some more familiar games Phil Harrison entered Microsoft's stage showing off Minecraft for Xbox One with better multiplayer, bigger maps and better graphics.

After Minecraft Sam Lake took it away showing Quantum Break the game, whose future is based on your choices and time... is not a problem. Check it Out
Next up Microsoft showed a game that allows you to create your own experience and share it on the cloud through smart-glass, a game that puts you on the action from square 1. Check it out
Now Microsoft shows up with some new Xbox Live features and its new smart-glass device which will allow you to acces in game features, like Achievements, Addons Shop and friend's status on a game directly on your Smart-glass device. Something I love is sharing my gameplays or sharing anything with whomever i want, you'll be able to do this on Xbox One trough in game DVR which will be viewable from Smart-Glass, But that's not it, Microsoft is happy to announce a relationship with Twitch which will allow you to broadcast live in game experiences. Another new feature of Xbox Live is that your friends list will not be limited. Microsoft said that they'll also be moving on with Microsoft Points to real life currency.

I personally love Open-World Zombie games, but this one has something special. Microsoft showed a game I was waiting for, for a long time, Dead Rising 3. in the presentation we saw how you can craft weapons and how to use your smart-glass device to call in the chivalry. Check it Out

With a starting fail Dice finally showed some gameplay footage of Battlefield 4 running at 60 frames per seconds. Check it Out
Aaand... Master Chief is back once again. with his awesome scattered armor. Take a look
And finally to close its conference Microsoft showed its brand new title Titanfall.

Microsoft only talked about Xbox One  at its conference but they also showed some cool games and the new Xbox 360.
Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will be released in November 2013 for $499.99 in the US, £429.99 in the UK, 499.99 Euros in Europe, and $599.99 in Australia.

Conference Rating: 8

The Walking Dead (Telltale game)- Finished/Review

Here's my review of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series...
I normally have not much time to spare with my 360, even though my little kid is very happy when I play with him or assist him with some of his favourite 1st/3rd person shooters.
TWD just manifested itself in one of those Redbox at our closest Walmart and my attention just got grabbed due to the TV Series which I practically swallowed.
The game neatly evolves, in a creepy zombieland, around Clementine and her patron Lee that I was impersonating all along the game plot. All other supporting characters are sufficiently outlined and gives you plenty of freedom to decide their destiny.
Scenography is thorough and richly sketched. Atmospheres are very accurately rendered. These constant amplified acoustic wildlife and wind background brings you directly into the TV series.
The story is so engaging and human at the same time; you indeed feel like her father and sense her scare and apprehension while the story deploys.
One of the most amazing characteristics of the game is the multi-path of the plot, based on your choices and your decisions.
Nonetheless, the main lead of is kind of already extablished, there is this You-Never-Die "parachute" and the end is almost clear since about you cross the first half of the game.
The interaction with other characters of the story is important and helps you develop your relationships with them and with the main events.
Tools help your missions, just be advised to not overlook anything and carefully inspect your surrounding when in a new environment. Achievements often require more than one interaction with your friends and enemies
Everything will be shaped as per your dialogues with people and choices of who to kill and who to save in many occasions.
There is plenty of gore; tension often is indeed captivating.
The summary of your critical decisions at the end of the game, and comparison with how other players took their decision is a tasty finale.
It took about 10 segmented hours to play all 5 episodes.
Overall rate is 8.8 (If we exclude the too many rumors of technical glitches experienced by way many players in playing apisodes 2 to 5 and the corruption of savegames)

Nest-Gen Xbox Updates

Have you been wondering about a Next-Gen Xbox? Well, if you have, then you'll have your answers, just keep reading.

At first we thought the next Xbox name would be Xbox 720, codename Durango, after that rumors reported Xbox Fusion, and a couple of days ago Microsoft registered the Xbox INFINITY.
Another big update I was waiting for, or better suspecting based on the launch problems of the Always-On SimCity, is that it might not be an Always-On console. If you've read one of my latest posts about the next Xbox, you know how upset I was about the Always-On idea. Some rumors also stated that, because of the Always-On feature, you won't be able to play used games, and again if you've read the previous post on the next Xbox I was pretty upset about that too, so now that the console might not be Always-On I guess you'll still be able to play used games.
Are you tired of the rumors, speculations, etc...? Well, you just have to wait about 1 more week for the reveal event, on May 21st!! If you don't know how to watch it, you can watch it live on IGN, until then to INFINITY and beyond!! get it?!:)
